Marvalyn G.

Marvalyn is a delightful, loving, and professional caregiver. She was our nighttime caregiver for six weeks in the late fall of 2022 and she worked Fridays to Sundays from 8 pm to 8 am. Charming, bright, intelligent, and quite strong for mobility issues, she learns routines quickly and had a lovely way with my parents who needed mobility, memory, and nursing care. Nighttime can be challenging with two memory-impaired adults who have different night schedules and personalities, but she handled them with grace and humor. Marvalyn's help was no longer needed after we moved my parents out of state. Marvalyn has a wonderful heart, and we highly recommend her to any family.

I recommend Marvalyn without reservation and if we were able to clone her, we would. She is a wonderful caregiver and a wonderful person. She was reliable, attentive to detail, and very interactive with my mother. My mother had dementia and although she was mobile, she used a walker and needed help. Marvalyn just cared a lot about her patient and she had a lot of patience. She did everything for my mother — food preparation, grooming, bathing. Marvalyn was very neat and very clean, and always wanted to do what was necessary for proper patient care.

Marvalyn cared for my significant other for about two years in 2010-2012. He was a diabetic with heart problems and many other medical issues. She was with him 24 hours a day and was wonderful. We always trusted her and never had a problem. I had other caregivers, and they were not like Marvalyn. I absolutely would hire her again. She was terrific.

Marvalyn was a companion for my bedridden husband for a few months, ending in January 2014. She did everything for him, including bathing and feeding responsibilities.
