About Me

I like doing this job because it's a blessing. When you are taking care of people it's extremely rewarding. I like to know more about my clients and their interests. I can take my clients anywhere they want to go: family gatherings, appointments, etc. I'm patient and very respectful. I'm also very hard-working and take my job very seriously. One of my hobbies includes listening to music. I like to read, as well.

Recommendations

We asked Kennedy to be an overnight aide for our father. He was very personable. He immediately tried to put our father at ease in what can be awkward situation, speaking a bit about himself and his approach to caregiving. He offered our father the opportunity to ask any questions or voice concerns. Kennedy was considerate and reliable. He only worked for two weeks in March 2022 because my father recuperated quickly and no longer needed overnight help, but Kennedy was easy going and made suggestions about various ways we were unaware of to improve the care of our father.

Kennedy cared for my dad from March 2015 until March 2017. My dad suffered from congestive heart failure and was wheelchair bound. Kennedy took care of all of his daily hygiene needs and prepared his meals. He helped with his oxygen and nebulizer and medications. My dad liked him and enjoyed the time they spent together. Kennedy was very good at keeping in contact with us, he kept lists of what needed to be replenished or when my dad needed a haircut. He truly went out of his way to keep my dad comfortable and well cared for, we never had to worry. I have no reservations whatsoever about Kennedy -- he is a gentleman who is an efficient, caring, and a good person.

My dad died in April 2014 at age 96 and Kennedy lived with him for the last eight months of his life. Dad and Kennedy lived in a 2-bedroom apartment in a retirement community. Dad was in the independent section, and one meal was provided, but Kennedy took care of breakfast and lunch. He is physically strong, but he is also a gentle, sweet man who was always "right there" for dad, and dad liked him a lot. My father had congestive heart failure and was not very mobile, so he needed help with bathing, bathroom, and dressing. I particularly liked that Kennedy was willing to go with the flow, and did what he could to keep my father happy. Kennedy rarely took personal time for himself, but when family members would visit, he was very respectful of our privacy. My sister and and I have no qualms about recommending him.
