Fatmata took care of our 94-year-old dad for 14 months. When she first started working for us, he was pretty independent, very alert, and oriented. He spent most of his day in his home office watching the stock market, except for meals when he would use his Stairlift chair to eat downstairs in the kitchen. His daily needs required assistance in the shower, changing his pull-up and his colostomy bag, and preparing his meals. Fatmata always respected his privacy, allowing him to keep his independence and dignity. As time went on, dad’s body began to deteriorate. He became less self-sufficient, unable to go downstairs for meals, and barely able to walk. His only wish was to go to his office and watch the stock market on TV. Fatmata made sure to get him there every day. She was patient and kind, and understood how important it was to make his wish happen. It wasn’t always easy, but somehow, she did it. I would always receive a text from her letting me know that he was fine and resting in his office. Dad loved her cooking, especially her meatballs. She prepared all of his meals exactly the way he liked them. She was kind, hardworking, and dedicated to our dad. She took a train and then a bus to go to his house and was always on time, even in bad weather. Dad was a simple man and took interest in Fatmata and her life. This wasn’t just a work relationship but was so much more -- and Fatmata quickly became part of our family. She loved dad as if he were her own.

Famata has cared for my mom since November 2015. My mom is 100 years old and lives in an assisted living facility. She has some dementia, limited verbal skills, and is wheelchair bound. Fatmata lives with her for three days a week and is just a terrific caregiver. She does everything for mom, including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication management. She keeps mom entertained and when there are concerts or lectures in the facility, Fatmata accompanies my mom. I really love Fatmata, we never have to worry about mom when she is there. We know she is in good hands. Fatmata is outgoing, pleasant, flexible, and a pleasure to have around.

Fatmata cared for my aunt from June 2013 to November 2015. My 87-year-old aunt suffered from Parkinson's disease and had high blood pressure. Fatmata arrived promptly each day and assisted with her daily living needs, including doing laundry and preparing meals. She was kind, helpful, and very understanding of my aunt's physical limitations and circumstances. Fatmata was professional, courteous, and hardworking. I highly recommend her as a caregiver -- she is outstanding.
