About Me

I like to take care of people because that's how I grew up. I began working as a home health aide and then I got my nurse's aide certificate. I have a lot of experience, and I have worked in hospitals and on private duty cases. I worked in a group home, too. I like to take care of people who cannot do for themselves. They didn't choose to be like that, so I always have to put myself in their shoes. It's easier for me to take care of them because I can understand their needs. I'm very friendly, and I like to communicate with the cliient and the family members; communication is key. I love to laugh, and I'm an easygoing person. In my spare time, I enjoy reading and watching movies.

Recommendations

Tigui cared for my mother from 2014 up until February 2016. My mother suffered from a mild stroke, and we had family covering some shifts but Tigui worked about 3 days a week with my mother. She assisted her with bathing, meals, and range of motion type exercises prescribed by the physical therapist. She also did light housekeeping. Tigui is a good caregiver. She's very trustworthy and knows her job. She was always on time and very reliable. Tigui would converse with my mother, and my mother appreciated those conversations. She would always do what needed to be done and worked with the family when sometimes unexpected things happened. She was always flexible to manage them. We definitely recommend her as a caregiver.

Tigui cared for my husband from February 2011 until February 2012 when he passed away. My husband had Parkinson's and a heart condition. Tigui would assist him with his daily needs. Tigui was so funny -- one time she came into the house, saw dust come off my curtains, and so she washed the curtains. We thought it was hysterical. Anything at all that needed to be done, Tigui would do it. We never had to tell her to do it. She's lovely, caring, compassionate, knowledgable, honest, clean, and punctual. She's the perfect caregiver. Another funny story was that she didn't like my vacuum, so she bought us a new one and wouldn't accept any reimbursement. She's a kind-hearted, lovely person and I will always recommend her to friends and family.
