Oumou came to my home to help care for my mother-in-law who suffers from dementia. She was with us for about 2 years, from 2014 - 2016. At that time, my mother-in-law went back to Santo Domingo to live with other family members. Oumou is a very nice person. She is very, very patient and that is a quality that you really need when working with a person with dementia. She helped with all her activities of daily living and they would often go for walks when the weather was nice. My mother-in-law seemed to be very comfortable with her and was always happy to see her. Oumou was reliable, punctual, and trustworthy and I would recommend her to a friend.

My mother was a diabetic and had high blood pressure and difficulty walking. Oumou was her caregiver for about four years. She was very caring and compassionate, and always there for us. My mother was so happy with Oumou and thought of her as a daughter. Oumou is an outgoing person and I appreciated that she was responsible and never called out sick. If I asked her to do something, I knew that it would be done when I got home. She did the laundry and some cooking, and in general, was a companion for my mother. I highly recommend Oumou.

I highly recommend Oumou as a health aide. I am a chaplain at a major hospital and I have interacted with Oumou quite often as she comes in with her clients for programs at our facility. I also know her from our community center, where elders come for programs and volunteers come from the community to support them. Oumou is adept at dealing with patients from different faiths and cultures because her knowledge is quite deep. She demonstrates an excellent caring presence with the patients and families in the community. Not only is she good in what she does, she makes it a point to keep learning to make sure that she doesn't fall short of anything. I am confident she will be an asset wherever she is working.

I have known Oumou for five years, and have been her supervisor at an assisted living facility for almost 2 years, since March 2015. She is a hard worker and she seems to enjoy what she does. She is reliable, on time, and responsible. She's a team player and is always willing to help out. Oumou impressed me with her willingness to go above and beyond her responsibilities. We have a resident who doesn't have any family around, and even though it is beyond the scope of her duties, she will occasionally stop at the supermarket and get him some things he needs. She makes sure that each resident is cared for.
