About Me

I really love taking care of the elderly. I'm a very caring person. When I do my job, I want it to be done correctly. I always put my heart into my work. I can feed my clients, dress them, give them showers or a bath, whatever I can do to help them get through their day. I like to make sure that I always give my best to my client. I'm very kind, honest, and loving. For fun, I like to read and watch TV.

Rose was the overnight caregiver for my mother for three nights each week from September 2018 to June 2019. My mother developed vascular dementia following a stroke, and she became very irate and combative. Rose was amazing with her. She spoke with mom in a very soothing tone and was able to calm her down quickly. She helped mom with toileting and her bedtime routine, and made coffee in the morning and fed the cat. Often, mom would wake in the night and Rose was always there for her. She'd sing to her and sit with her for as long as necessary. She was always so caring and treated my mother as if she were her own. I live out of state, and with some of the other caregivers, that was a problem because of the communication. But Rose called me every morning to tell me how mom's night was, and we texted frequently. I'd visit my mother for a month at a time, and Rose would still work so that I could get sleep. I felt very comfortable going back to my home, knowing that Rose was there. She is a great person and we became very close, so it was hard to let her go when we needed a live-in caregiver and she was not available for that schedule. I highly recommend Rose.

Rose took care of my mother for about a year and a half from 2013 to the beginning of 2015. I can only think of good things to say about Rose. She had a very nice relationship with my mother and we got along great, too. My mom needed general supervision and couldn't stay alone. One of the most important things about Rose is that she is caring, responsible, and I really trusted her. My family had to move, which is the reason she could't stay with us, but I think I would have kept her forever. I appreciate everything she did for us.

Rose was a caregiver for my mother from 2011-2013. Mom was a diabetic and unsteady on her feet. She was unable to care for herself and when a friend recommended Rose, we were happy to give her a try. Mom loved when she was around and never complained about Rose. She is a nice person and she helped my mother with personal care and whatever else she needed. She drove to appointments and shopping and kept the house clean. She also would remind my mother to test her blood sugar. In 2013, my sister's availability changed, and she took over our mother's care. If not for that, Rose would still be caring for mom, and if our situation changed again I would have her back.
