I met Maia in January 2018 when she interviewed for the position of live-in caregiver for my mother, who was 88 years old. My mother had just spent two weeks in a rehab facility after suffering a pulmonary embolism and she had Alzheimer’s disease. I was immediately impressed by Maia’s professionalism and her kindness towards my mother. She was so friendly and reassuring and I could see that my mother liked her, too. She took immaculate care of my mother -- cleaning her, dressing her, cooking for her, feeding her, and making sure she took her medications. Maia encouraged us to get a hospital bed, knew what kind of pads she needed, as well as other things to help make her more comfortable. I visited every day so I came to know Maia very well. I was so grateful for the companionship she gave my mother -- she kept her engaged and anticipated her every need. Maia was with for more than 15 months until my mother passed away. Maia is extremely intelligent and capable, but also warm and thoughtful. I highly recommend her.

I was hospitalized for 11 days in the fall of 2017 and came home on oxygen 24/7. Obviously, I needed someone to be with me while I recovered. I have a lot of experience with caregivers from my husband, and went through a few myself before I hired Maia. I give Maia five stars. She is terrific and would have done anything I asked. She used my car to run errands and drive me to doctor appointments. She did my laundry and was there in case I needed anything. When I went to Florida for the winter, Maia came with me. She is so pleasant and easy to be around. Maia lived with me 24/7 from October 2017 through June 2018. At that point, I was feeling much better and didn't really need a caregiver or companion. I enthusiastically recommend her.

Maia was a friendly, fun, nurturing, and caring person who was a 24/7 caregiver for my aunt for about a year in 2014. My aunt is very overweight and not very friendly. She is a diabetic with significant leg wounds and she is mostly bed bound. Maia did everything for her -- glucose, Hoyer lift, personal care, and wounds. Though my aunt could get Meals on Wheels, she liked Maia's cooking, so Maia did most of the meal preparation. I know my aunt felt safe with Maia and we felt like she was family. When she left, my children were crying. I trusted Maia completely and know that she did above and beyond what was asked of her. Now, 4 years later, she still checks in to see how my aunt is doing.
