About Me

Before I came to the United States in 2013, I was with my grandmother in Ghana, and staying with her was very interesting. She gave me a lot of advice and being able to hear her stories was really nice. You learn a lot from the elderly, and by helping the elderly, it's a blessing. I would love to be a nurse one day, so I love to be of help to those who need it. Starting as a caregiver will give me a lot of experience towards my future goal. Medication, being taken care of, being attended to -- I love every aspect of this job. I'm easy going, very serious about my work, and I make my clients happy. I'm jovial and very sweet. I also love to dance and I like talking to new people.

Recommendations

Irene worked with me as a live-in caregiver from May 2020 until October 2020 while I was recuperating from an illness. From the moment Irene entered my house, carrying a bouquet of flowers for me, I knew she was someone very special. Irene is very hardworking, trusting, loyal, and dedicated. There wasn't anything that Irene wouldn't do for me. I was so fortunate to have Irene as my caregiver. She also prepared all of my meals and kept my home neat and clean. She was attentive to all my needs. Anyone lucky enough to have Irene as their caregiver will be completely satisfied.

Irene was my mother's caregiver from 2015 until June 2017. We moved out of the area and couldn't take Irene with us. My mother is legally blind and she lost her vision about seven years ago. We needed someone to stay with her 24/7, especially when we are at work during the day. Irene helped my mother with making meals, running errands, and taking her to appointments. She also did some light housekeeping. Irene is very soft-spoken and caring. She was really good to my mom, compared to the other aides we had in the past. I recommend her highly.

- Eva S., New Jersey

Irene was a live-in aide for my grandmother from 2014-2015 for about 15 months. My grandmother had polymyalgia rheumatica, back pains, and leg issues. She it was difficult for her to get up and move on her own. Irene helped her with all of her daily needs like cooking, cleaning, bathing, toileting, and everything in between. Irene is very friendly and personable. She really became more like part of our family. My grandmother didn't see her as an employee, but more like a granddaughter. Irene knew how to make my grandmother feel special. She's very hard-working and dependable, and I recommend her highly.
