Charlotte P.

I have been Charlotte's supervisor at a regional long-term care hospital for more than 12 years. She works as a Certified Nurse Aide and is responsible for keeping our residents safe and helping with activities of daily living. For the past few years, Charlotte has been working the overnight shift in the ventilator unit. The patients are unable to speak, but she is always respectful, caring, and compassionate. Family members will often be around in the early morning, and they seem to appreciate the care that Charlotte gives their loved ones. As her supervisor since 2006, I know that Charlotte is reliable and responsible. She is flexible with her co-workers and takes instruction and advice well. If a mistake is made, she is quick to correct it. Charlotte is down to earth and easy to be around, and though I have only seen her in an institutional setting, I feel that she will also be a good caregiver one-on-one with a client at home.

Charlotte cared for my husband for about 2 years from 2004-2006. My husband was having heart issues and showing signs of Parkinson's. We couldn't have been happier with her. Charlotte is gentle, caring, and extremely humble. She helped my husband with bathing, making sure that he ate his meals, talking to him and keeping him company, and taking him for walks outside. We have no complaints about Charlotte's work. I definitely recommend her.
