About Me

I've always worked in this field because I'm very interested in working with people and helping them. I started working in private homes, and I've also worked in nursing homes. I can take my clients to appointments, take them shopping, go out in the community, or just go for a ride. I'm well-rounded and can help my clients with anything. I'm outgoing and personable. I'm easy-going, too. I love to work, so I'm always trying to keep busy. When I have free time, I like going to the movies and playing mini-golf. I also enjoy doing anything that's relaxing and I enjoy going out for dinner.

Recommendations

As my father-in-law aged, he became a very difficult and irascible person. He was physically failing, and unmotivated to cook and clean. He was a World War II veteran, an architect who retired young, and was very old school in his ways. All I can say is that Dierdre is an absolute saint. She came in five days a week to help him and took care of everything. She was a great companion and went out of her way to make him happy, like preparing foods that he enjoyed. Dierdre is outgoing and very perceptive, and I can honestly say that she is patient beyond anything you can imagine. I sing her praises.

Dierdre has been my mom's home heath aide for more than four years, since January 2013. My mom is 90 and has dementia. She has trouble walking, showering, and managing her medication without assistance. My mom adores Dierdre and loves spending time with her. Dierdre takes mom to all of her doctor appointments and to the hairdresser. She is so professional, organized, prompt, and thoughtful. I feel so fortunate to have her as my mom's caregiver and companion. Dierdre is incredibly good at what she does. I highly recommend her a caregiver -- she is both knowledgable and conscientious.
