After my dad passed away, I realized that my mother could no longer be on her own, but mom wanted to stay in her home. She had Parkinson's disease and needed assistance with her hygiene, medications, and meal preparation. Vanessa began caring for my mom in March 2015 until March 2016. I have a large extended family and Vanessa had a lot of people and personalities to deal with in our family. She was wonderful dealing with everyone. She fit in well and became close with us. It was very hard after we lost my dad. Vanessa was extremely empathetic and kind to all of us. She is a true team player, and when she wasn't taking care of mom, she would do the laundry, wash the dishes, and do anything else that needed to get done. Vanessa is an amazing communicator, she always kept us up to date on mom's ever changing condition. I was always confident that mom was in great hands, in or out of the house, as Vanessa was very responsible and careful. She is everything we needed in a caregiver.

Vanessa cared for both of my parents for about a year from April 2016 until April 2017. My dad has Parkinson's disease and mom has high blood pressure. Vanessa came in during the week to help them with errands, doctor appointments, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. She is outgoing and professional, and always goes above and beyond what is asked of her. Vanessa was incredibly patient and kind, and a great companion. My mom really adored her and I recommend her as a caregiver, she is a keeper.
