About Me

I took care of my grandmother and that made me develop a passion for this job. I understood her and what she needed, and from that experience, I was able to make this a career. I like to treat my clients well, and I treat them like my family. I make them feel safe. I can handle tough situations. I do what I can do help those that I'm working with. I'm hard-working, have a nice sense of humor, and I'm ready to learn. I'm also a very good listener, and I try to understand everyone regardless of their situation. For fun, I enjoy cooking, driving around, and shopping. I also enjoy reading.

Recommendations

My husband has been on hospice for quite some time now, and Elsie was one of the rotating caregivers that came to take care of him in the beginning of 2018. My husband requires a lot of attention because he is bedridden and wears a diaper. He has to be constantly turned and Elsie was able to do so very gently. She also pureed foods for him and would feed him. Elsie is very wonderful to work with and we were very delighted with her care. She's a pleasant person to get along with, and I highly recommend her services.

Elsie is just an all-around wonderful person. She cared for my sister up until she passed away in June 2017 for a few months. My sister was bedridden, and she had some dementia as well as some heart failure. Elsie would come early in the mornings and stay with my sister until 4-5pm. My niece would take over in the evenings when she was home from work. Elsie had to provide total care for my sister, since she was bed bound. If my sister made any sort of a noise, Elsie was right there beside her. Elsie is kind and caring and we trusted her completely. I think that anyone needing a great caregiver will be very pleased with Elsie.
