About Me

I started as a caregiver in 2016 because it was a great opportunity to meet new people in a new country. I like caregiving because I come from a big family, where I learned first hand the importance of caring for other people. It became part of my lifestyle, and I treat my customers like my own family. I studied psychology in my home country of the Republic of Georgia, and I am patient, reflective, and detail oriented. I am empathetic and friendly. My clients say I'm organized and I would help them with their personal items, and they describe me as a good listener. I like to listen to what my clients have to say and participate in activities they suggest, like dancing with them. One special thing I have done for my past clients was to create an environment where they were comfortable, and I love playing table games like Monopoly and cards with them. On my days off, I love to go dancing. I used to participate in native folk dancing back in my home country. I like to go for long walks, and I've taken up a new hobby -- knitting. I also love to color, both with my clients and in my spare time.

Recommendations

Nino started living with my mother in May 2018. It's now been well over a year and my sister and I really trust and appreciate her. My mother is 94 years old and not physically mobile. She needs help getting in and out of bed, and assistance in the toilet and shower. Nino is very good with mom and my mother feels comfortable and safe with her. Nino is hard working, caring, and dependable. She is calm and mild-mannered and that creates a calm atmosphere for mom. My mother is very heavy, but Nino is able to transfer her from a chair to her wheelchair, and get her in and out of bed, up and down on the toilet, and in and out of the shower. She also cooks and keeps the apartment clean. My sister and I appreciate that Nino tends to my mother's emotional needs as well as her physical needs. She is professional, courteous, caring, and concerned. Her pleasant demeanor balances perfectly with her sense of dedication. She offers mom the best of care. We feel very safe entrusting our mother with Nino.

Nino took care of my aunt from September 2017- February 2018 by monitoring medication usage, assisting her with her daily living tasks, preparing meals, doing light housework, and providing companionship. She was trustworthy and we depended on her as a caregiver and a friend. Nino is extremely organized, reliable, and has a true sense of responsibility. I highly recommend her.
