It's my pleasure to recommend Maureen. My father had Parkinson's disease and he declined very quickly. Maureen came to live with dad and mom in their home in January 2017. During this difficult time for our family, Maureen went above and beyond in caring for my father. She was extremely attentive to all of my father's needs and treated my parents like they were her own family. Dad was so well cared for by Maureen that it really put our minds at ease. She was an angel sent down from heaven. We had been through several home health aides as my mother could be uncooperative and very difficult to interact with. She wasn't able to care for my father herself but she didn't want anyone else in the house. Maureen was able to get along with my mother while providing outstanding care to my dad and she became part of the family. My father spent most of his time in bed and though he was not easy to maneuver, Maureen was able to get him into the wheelchair so he could come to the table for dinner each night. When dad passed away in August 2017, Maureen was on vacation in Ghana visiting her family. When she learned of my father's death, she took a 20-hour flight back to the United States to attend dad's wake, and then flew back to Ghana that night. This meant so much to our family at a very sad time. Maureen is personable and always did the right thing. She is an extremely hard-working, dedicated, and intelligent woman. I can say with complete confidence that she will be an asset to any family lucky enough to employ her.

Maureen and I worked with the same home care agency for about 2 years. I was a visiting nurse and Maureen was an aide.
