We were very fortunate that Martial came into our lives. He was the principal caretaker for my disabled husband for 3 1/2 years ending in February 2025 when my husband passed peacefully. Martial initially came to work for one month but then I asked him to stay on. My husband was wheelchair-bound and Martial was his caretaker and friend. Martial was regarded as an integral member of our family. He traveled with us on various overnight trips so we could get away and bring my husband to family gatherings. He also took my husband to the senior programs daily and became a part of the team. He took him to all the doctor’s appointments including trips to New York in our wheelchair accessible van. I could always depend on and he always did it with a smile and never complained. Martial has the unique ability to connect with people -- he is compassionate, understanding, and very knowledgeable. I know that the family he will be working for next will be fortunate. Martial is quiet but an expert in the field. I am sorry to see him go.

When my father was battling Stage 4 cancer, Martial worked hourly with our father for a few months until dad's passing in June 2020. Martial did everything for my father, and made his last days as comfortable as possible for him. As my father's condition worsened, Martial's qualities continued to shine. Martial was very compassionate, caring, attentive, punctual, and reliable. He was a very good communicator, and my wife and I knew what was going on at all times. We would stop by the house at various times, and my father was always clean, well-groomed, and comfortable. We trusted Martial, and knew how consistent he was in providing hands-on care for my father. I give Martial the highest of recommendations as a caregiver.

Martial helped care for my father on a hourly basis from February through September 2018. My father had a mini-stroke, and when he came home from rehab, he needed assistance with activities of daily living. Martial was able to help lift my father, and was there to help him ambulate as needed. Martial has a wonderful sense of humor, and I was very comfortable having him in my home caring for my father. I was attending school at the time, and Martial was very flexible when it came to helping my father. His hours sometimes varied, and any time I came home from school, I would hear my father and Martial talking, laughing, and having a great time. Martial was a very good communicator, and would text me if he had any questions or if my father wanted to tell me something. Martial takes initiative, and was absolutely wonderful with my father.
