About Me

I have been a caregiver for about 8 years. I decided to become a caregiver because my grandmother got sick and she had stage 4 bed sores and the person taking care of her was not doing a good job. I started to take care of my grandmother and I do so until she passed away. That's when I decided that this could be a field for me -- taking care of others. I like to see my patients smiling. I like their reaction when I walk through the door; they are always happy to see me. I like talking to them and reading with them. I like making sure they are clean and well kept and I treat my patients as my own family. I'm compassionate, caring, honest, trustworthy and reliable. I also think I am very understanding and very patient. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, singing, hanging out with friends, and doing volunteer work at the senior centers. I also like to do marathons to raise money for breast cancer and Alzheimer's.

Recommendations

Kimore is an amazing companion. My mom's memory is not good and she would not be safe to leave her apartment on her own. Kimore has been working with my mother since February 2024. She comes twice a week for four hours each day and she enables my mother to have a life outside the confines of her apartment. That is really wonderful. Kimore drives and my mother loves going out with her. They go to Sephora, out for lunch, to doctor appointments, and to the park. If mom is complaining about her hair, Kimore will suggest a trip to the beauty parlor and off they go. I live out of state and appreciate that Kimore keeps in touch with me. Mom can still do all of the activities of daily living and Kimore helps her with laundry. My mother needs some quiet time each day and she really loves that they can just sit together without talking. I also appreciate that she is good with technology. Kimore is compassionate and responsive, and my brother and I are thrilled with the care she has provided our mom.

Kimore has worked with me for about a year or so. She is a very responsible and caring person. I am in a wheelchair and need help getting ready for the day. She helps manage my medication, and she helps me shower and getting dressed. She helps around the house and prepares my meals. Kimore accompanies me to doctor's appointments. Overall she is a great companion and a very caring person. I recommend her to any person that needs care.

Kim worked for us for a year taking care of my 95-year-old father until his death in the fall of 2018. She worked every weekend, and towards the end of my father's life was willing to work several overnights as well. Kim is mature beyond her years, clearly having much experience dealing with difficult situations and doing so with a calm presence and clarity. My father had a difficult personality, yet Kim was able to humor him with respect in order to get him to get dressed, take his medications, and take a shower. That took an inordinate amount of patience. She prepared his meals and kept his personal space clean and organized. Kim was always dependable, honest, and punctual, and she provided compassion and understanding to a man who was so angry and miserable due to the loss of my mother. Kim has the capacity to understand and respect the needs of the elderly as well as being a loyal employee. Kim will be an asset to any family.

We highly recommend Kimore. She is a skilled, kind and patient caregiver. She is very intelligent and thoughtful. She is always punctual and is a good team member. She is willing to take on new responsibilities without hesitation and offers helpful solutions to situations that may arise with her clients, my parents. We are very pleased with Kimore's work.

Kimore worked with my grandmother from 2010-2014. She did everything for her: bathing, dressing, feeding, medication management. Kimore is a very hard worker. She always kept my grandmother smiling. She would sometimes take her outside to enjoy the weather and also Kimore would play songs that my grandmother loved. She was always on time and would get the job done. She is very honest and pays attention to her patient. You won't be disappointed in her.
