About Me

I was in an automobile accident and my doctors told me that I was going to be paralyzed on my left side. They told me I'd never walk again, and then I started physical therapy. I brought myself back to health, and the doctors couldn't believe my strength. Those doctors influenced me to get into this field. One thing lead to another, and I've become very good at this job and have had a lot of varied experiences. I've worked with many different clients. When I see my clients achieve accomplishments, it makes me feel special because I am able to help them. I'm very open, honest, and very intuitive when it comes to client care. I make sure my clients' priorities are my top priorities. Safety and their well being is very important. I always try to make sure they are comfortable and that their needs are being met. For fun, I love to read, especially historic pieces or dramas, especially about espionage. I also like reading the newspaper and staying up to date with political news.

Recommendations

Jacqueline was a caregiver for my grandmother from June 2015 until her death in November 2017. She was excellent and I have no hesitation in recommending her. My grandmother was elderly and needed someone to be with her. Jacqueline usually worked 12 hours during the day. My job requires some travel and I was the primary caregiver, so I greatly appreciated Jacqueline's flexibility in staying overnights when I needed her. When my grandmother developed diabetes, Jacqueline was instrumental in reworking her meal plan and preparing healthy meals. She massaged my grandmother's joints to increase her range of motion, and used her experience to help my grandmother get the most out of her day-to-day living. They watched television and listened to the news and had spirited conversations about politics. In the last few weeks, as my grandmother's health took a drastic decline, Jacqueline taught me to give a bed bath and did everything she could to alleviate the stress in our family. She checked in, even when she was not working. She facilitated thinking about the funeral process and family notifications, as this was the first time I was dealing with death. In general, Jacqueline is very knowledgeable and helpful, and was a great caregiver for my grandmother.

Jacqueline was a caregiver for my mother from 2014-2016. My mother had Alzheimer's and I was out of the house from 7a-8p almost every day, so I needed someone there with her. Jacqueline was amazing and I never had to worry when she was with my mother. She did everything and anything for my mom. I was extremely comfortable with Jacqueline. She is very dependable and went the extra mile for my mother. She does a great job at this kind of work. She's also a very good communicator. I 100% recommend her services.
