About Me

I was a school nurse for about 20 years in my country of Georgia. I came to the United States in 1998 and I did caregiving work almost immediately. I love this profession, and I love the elderly. I'm good at what I do, and I have a lot of practical experience. I love my clients. I'm very kind and I treat people like my family. I do everything for my clients with all of my heart. If they are able to go out, I love to go out with my clients and have a good time. In my spare time, I like to read, watch movies, and watch the news. I also like to spend time with my family.

Recommendations

Leila is a remarkable caregiver. She lived-in with my parents who needed mobility, memory, and illness care, as well as cooking and light housework (we also had a weekly housekeeper). We can be honest: My parents can be difficult, and Leila handled them with great humor, wisdom, and insight. They adore her. Her varied health care experience gave them the best full-service caregiving we’ve had. Leila worked 24/7 for six weeks until the end of November 2022, when we moved my parents out of state a via medical care flight and into a memory care/nursing facility near us. Leila came with them on the flight to care for my mother, helped orient the facility staff, and went above and beyond what was either necessary or expected. We love Leila and I know you will, too.

Leila was a caregiver for my mother for about six months in 2015. Mom had been widowed for a little more than three years and was dealing with various health issues, but when she had a transient ischemic attack while driving, it was clear that she needed a companion. She was a very proud woman, and she was not thrilled about losing her independence. But Leila was so respectful and sweet, and used such good judgment, that my mother liked her very much. Leila is a wonderful cook, very smart ,and she is a very nurturing person. My mother cared about how she looked -- she wore high heels until she died, and Leila made sure that mom always looked good. I believe that her culture encourages service and that is why she is such a good companion. Leila supported mom, but she also supported our entire family. She was very reliable and completely trustworthy. My mother had many valuables around her house, and there was never an issue. I live 7 hours away and needed to be very comfortable that my mother was in good hands.

There is no one better in the world than Leila. She took care of my mother for about a year in 2008 while my mother was very sick. My mother passed away in January 2009. In the beginning, Leila was there for hourly assistance with bathing, feeding, and companionship. My mother had to have a feeding tube put in and Leila was a live-in with us for about 5-6 weeks during that time. When my mother was in the hospital, Leila stayed with her overnight and cuddled with her. She really is far superior than the average caregiver. She made my mother look like a million dollars. I was at my parents' home almost every day and got to witness the care that Leila provided. She was like family to us, and I was sad when she had to leave after my mother passed away. My father is currently 94 and is independent, but if anything were to happen to him or to me, I would call Leila in a second. I give her a sterling reference and you absolutely won't regret hiring her.

Leila was the primary caregiver for my mother and father from June 2016 - October 2016. She was with mom when she died and I'm so grateful that someone who cared about her was with her. My father has Parkinson's and my mother had lung cancer. They lived in an independent living facility and both used wheelchairs. They ate dinner in the dining room, but Leila prepared breakfast and lunch for them. When Leila first came to care for my parents, my father had bedsores and she was diligent and conscientious about rotating him and putting creams and lotions on him. Within a month, there was a significant improvement, something that his previous caregiver had not been able to accomplish. Leila is a warm, compassionate person with an incredible work ethic. She worked 16 hours a day, 7 days a week, and in my mother's last weeks, was there even more. In the beginning, Leila helped my mother get washed and dressed, but as her condition worsened, she really tended to her. She kept us aware of what was happening and let us know when mom's pain worsened. Leila is very trustworthy and reliable and she accounted for every penny that she spent. Anyone would be very fortunate to have her caring for them. It's hard to find someone like Leila and I have no hesitation in recommending her.
