About Me

I came to the United States from Russia in 1999. I have a Master's degree from Russia in the Russian language. In Russia, I used my degree to work as a psychologist with children for 17 years. I later became a bookkeeper in the military for 7 years. I became a caregiver in 1999 after relocating to the US. When I came to the United States, I had no experience as a caregiver and also the English language was very difficult for me to understand, but with my first opportunity working as a caregiver, I gained experience in providing care for an elderly person and a child. I was able to improve my English speaking as well as develop an interest in becoming a full time caregiver. I went ahead to obtain my certification as a home health aide. I have worked with clients with many different ailments and illnesses. I love people and love to work around people. I am very patient, trustworthy, and honest. I'm also lovable, reliable and dependable. I pride myself on being very neat and organized. Also, I make all my clients comfortable, healthy and happy as much as possible. I love reading history books and watching documentaries when I’m free.

Recommendations

Natalya worked for more than four years (2011 to 2015) as an attendant at the home of my relative, a 97-year-old woman. The case became even more difficult after my relative became bedridden. Natalya proved herself as a knowledgeable and caring person, capable of taking initiative in communicating with the attending doctor and other medical staff. She regularly fulfilled all the duties and requirements that I expected of a caregiver for a seriously ill person. Natalya's dealings with visiting medical staff was commendable. She immediately implemented recommendations given by medical professionals. She kept the home very clean and when there was an emergency, she went with my relative to the hospital and stayed with her the entire time. Natalya is a responsible and capable worker and I commend her for her work with my relative.

Natalya lived with and worked as a home health caregiver and companion for my sister, Maureen, from October 2001 to August 2003, and stopped working when she moved out of state. Natalya's responsibilities included household duties such as cleaning, laundry, shopping, and meal preparation as well as personal care and well being of Maureen. She actively participated with interest and enthusiasm in the physical therapy and social programs that were a daily part of Maureen's life. She acted professionally at all times and with great compassion. Natalya's constant and responsible presence in my sister's home allowed Maureen to maintain an independent living situation vital to the quality of her life and well being. I can comfortably and without hesitation advise that Natalya is a warm, responsible, and trustworthy individual. I consider her to be an exceptional employee and a caring friend.
