About Me

I was born to help people and I have been taking care of people since my teenage years. I was a medical doctor back home in Guinea, so I am able to use some of my skills that I learned in medical school to help my clients. I became a professional caregiver when I arrived to the United States in 2010. I love being a home health aide because it is related to the medical field and love being around people. As a home health aide, I am patient. I like to lend a helping hand and make my clients feel good. I am very understanding. I am very punctual when it comes to going to work and helping with medications. I am a very active aide and there is never a dull moment with me. I am also very careful and cautious in fragile situations with my clients. When I have time, I love to read and also to attend classes to further my education.

Recommendations

Aisha started working with my partner in the summer of 2017, and is still his caregiver currently (September 2018). My partner had strokes in 2017 and is mostly blind and hard of hearing. He is also not steady on his feet and uses either a cane or walker to get around. Aisha comes to us every other weekend and Monday and Tuesdays to help him with his needs. She cleans up the house and the bathrooms. She helps us in the kitchen, as well. I love Aisha. I love that she comes in and doesn't hesitate to get to work. She's great and you won't regret hiring her.

Aisha took care of my father for a few years, ending in March 2018 when he passed away. My father was bed bound and needed total care. We had two caregivers doing 12-hour shifts and Aisha was one of them. She would help him with everything: feeding, bathing, preparing his meals, and ordering supplies. Aisha is awesome. She really connected with my father and I could tell he loved her. He was hard to hear but she was able to read his lips. She was so good that she would anticipate what he wanted or needed before he even had the chance to ask. She made my father comfortable in his final years. She's very committed and concerned. The family all loved her and I recommend her highly.
