I highly recommend Zoia as a candidate for employment as a caregiver. Zoia cared for my husband as a live-in caregiver from August 2021 through October 2022. She was responsible for daily living assistance including dressing, personal hygiene, feeding, exercising, first aid, and redirecting behaviors associated with Alzheimer's. Throughout her stay with us, Zoia showed great patience and respect for Dennis. She learned how to communicate and joke with him and built a trusting relationship, which was not an easy task. Zoia was exceptionally dedicated and trustworthy and dependable. I was very comfortable having her in our house. She always has her client's best interests at heart and works tirelessly to ensure they are comfortable and well cared for.

Zoia and I met when I needed a new caregiver for a client in November 2005. She stepped into her new position with grace, intelligence, good humor, and experience. Whatever the emergency, she was capable and quick to respond, saving my client many times. Together, Zoia and I worked as a team. Zoia is worth her weight in gold. She will bring life and love into the house and will do all and more that is asked of her. She began with with my client when he was able to walk with help. After six months, he suffered another stroke and became dependent on full help. All his needs, eating, bathing, dressing, and toileting were dependent on his caregiver. He was in full command of his mind but he couldn't move his body without help. He relied on Zoia, and she in turn kept him in perfect condition. I am proud to say after almost one and a half years, his skin was in perfect condition. Zoia didn't skimp on anything when it came to caregiving. Zoia is honest, reliable, and most important, her patient becomes her top priority. Nothing is left undone.

If you are reading this for the first time, you are probably searching for a caregiver for yourself or for a loved one. Let your search end right here when you meet Zoia. It is with honor and with great sadness that I recommend Zoia. Zoia came to us in early February 2005 after a long search for the right person to take care of my father after undergoing open-heart surgery, which turned a very independent, strong-willed proud man, into someone who would have to rely totally on others. Contrary to what he believed, he would need long-term assistance for the rest of his life. Zoia lived in our house and provided round-the-clock care for him, always tending to his physical and medical needs. Zoia recognized danger signals in my father's health and was always quick to get him to a doctor or on a number of occasions, the hospital, where he would have to stay for days at a time. In September 2005, Zoia made sure he got to the hospital in time, which ultimately saved his life. During his hospital stays, Zoia was right there with him all day long. He was frightened, and Zoia was there to lift his spirits and comfort him. Zoia did everything with love and never complained. In addition to preparing his meals, medications, and keeping his apartment immaculate, Zoia emphasized the importance of maintaining daily personal hygiene, a dapper wardrobe, and was always well-dressed and very clean whether he was sitting in his remote controlled recliner in his living room or during their short walks around the corner. Zoia is the most compassionate, caring, totally selfless, loyal, and true blue person we have had the privilege of knowing. She was not only a caregiver, but she was part of the family. She has a love for life and a love for people. She has a very uplifting spiritual energy that is necessary in the recovery process. She became my father's best friend, a trusted confidant, and the person he relied on most in his darkest hour. The eternal optimist, Zoia brought life back into our whole house, into all of our lives, like Maria in "The Sound of Music." It was very difficult for me and my siblings to learn to deal with this tragic set of circumstances that had befallen us, but because of Zoia, we were able to make it through. Zoia always looked at the glass as half full and always with a smile. Zoia was family in its truest sense, and it is only because of our financial situation that we had to say goodbye. We were heartbroken and miss her very much.
