About Me

I have a very eclectic background. I was the head manager of a construction company in Moscow for about 4 years and I was also captain of the police force in my country at one point in my life. I have a degree in civil engineering. For some time, I was also a professional swimmer for many years. I love to stay active. My family and I came to this country in 2008, and since 2011, I have been working as a caregiver. I like helping people. I like making my clients happy, and I like to know that I'm making a difference. I like to see smiles on my clients' faces and to see the results, if possible. I'm very organized, and I'm extremely friendly. I love living a healthy life, eating healthy foods and working out as much as I can. I love exercising and keeping myself strong. I love to help people live their best, healthy, happy life.

Recommendations

Sasha worked for my client in Rhinebeck, New York for approximately six months in 2018-19. The client passed away, otherwise Sasha would still be employed by this family. Sasha was well liked by the family, and did an excellent job of caring for David. David’s wellbeing and appearance improved with Sasha’s care. Sasha was professional, knowledgeable, and tuned in to the family and what they needed. He has empathy, and kindness as well. I highly recommend Sasha in future work as a caregiver. He loves the work, and is very good at it. He accommodated all of the family’s needs.

Sasha was my father's health care aide from the end of October 2016 until September 6, 2017. I cannot possibly say enough about Sasha and the quality of care he provided to my father, who had advanced Parkinson's Disease with dementia, in addition to having a urostomy bag. Sasha proved to be more than your average health care aide; he was very professional, dedicated, dependable, trustworthy, and conscientious. He took great pride in his work, and we always felt he genuinely cared for my father, that this was more than just a job for him. He always looked for better treatments and methods for taking care of a wound that my father had on his lower backside. He would make sure to regularly move him in his recliner or in his bed to keep pressure off the wound. My father had lost his ability to speak clearly and was unable to communicate with us but Sasha could always anticipate his needs, and knew when he was uncomfortable, needed a blanket or pillow, or had to be adjusted in his chair or bed. On a daily basis, Sasha would make sure to give my father different types of fruits as snacks to make sure he was getting good nutrition and to help regulate his digestive system. He was diligent in making sure my father drank enough juices and water throughout the day to help prevent him from getting urinary infections. He had the foresight to know that eventually my father would have problems swallowing and recommended that we purchase a food processor so that he could puree my father's meals. He added protein powder to his pureed breakfast with the idea that it would help keep my father strong and help heal any skin irritations or wounds he had. Sasha always made sure my father was well groomed even though he did not leave his apartment, and toward the end of his life spent most of his time in bed. When I came to visit 2-3 times a week, Sasha always kept me apprised of how my father was doing with his medications, eating, sleeping, and behavioral changes. I also felt he kept me well informed. Although it was difficult to see my father's physical and mental health deteriorate, seeing how well Sasha took care of him gave me peace of mind. My brother and I have the utmost respect and gratitude for the care he gave to my father. We truly believe that due to his exemplary care, my father lived longer than we expected. Even though Sasha took care of my father for less than a year, in that very short time we felt that he had become part of our family. Our family and friends knew of Sasha by name once we talked about him often and like us, were grateful that we had found someone special to take care of our father. I would highly recommend that you add Sasha to your team. I know you will find him to be a professional, dedicated, and an exemplary caregiver. He will make a great addition to any family.

Sasha was a live-in caregiver for my husband from September 2011 until May 2012. My husband was disabled and couldn't take care of his own personal needs on his own. He also could not walk or get dressed on his own. Sasha was great for us for a number of reasons. My husband, Bruce, felt very comfortable with Sasha, and he never made him feel vulnerable. Sasha is also physically strong, so my husband felt safe with him for this reason, too. Sasha is extremely knowledgable and wants the best for his client. He is extremely thorough and takes his job very seriously, which we appreciated. He even traveled with me to Florida during the time he was with us. All in all, I recommend him highly.
