About Me

I have a degree in engineering, which I used to work in my native country, the Republic of Georgia, for 4 years. I came to the United States in 1998. When I came here, I held different jobs to take care of my family. I decided to become a caregiver in 2008. because being a caregiver is something that I love doing because I love to help. I like this job because I am able to contribute my time and energy to the lives of people who need help. Throughout my years of working as a caregiver, I have helped my clients with everything they have requested and always make sure they are comfortable. I am a very honest person, trustworthy, patient, and very dependable. One special thing I did for a client was one day was I stayed awake all night to make sure my client was safe. I called 911 when the situation got worse and handled the situation as a professional caregiver. When I am not working, I really love to watch any type of sports.

Recommendations

George lived with and cared for my father from 2008 to 2014. He was very trustworthy, passionate, and caring. He showed great passion and patience with my father, who could try one's patience. My father had Parkinson's disease and dementia, and George was always ready to help and do what needed to be done. When Hurricane Irene hit, the weekend caregiver who was supposed to relieve George was unable to get to my dad's home. George stayed and kept dad safe throughout the week with no electricity. Under normal circumstances, George drove my father to doctor appointments, helped with medication, helped him prepare meals, assisted him with bathing and dressing, and helped with shopping and other daily activities. He went above and beyond those responsibilities, and I would often come home to find that my laundry was done. My dad seemed to be comfortable with George, and although there was a little language barrier, George was able to communicate with both dad and me well enough. It was my privilege to have George care for my father. I would recommend him as a caregiver and am confident you will be very happy with him.

George was a very devoted caregiver for my father for more than three years from 2014 to 2017. The best recommendation that I can give him is that he would still be with my dad, had my dad's condition not changed drastically. George lived with dad during the week and was responsible for all of his activities of daily living. He is a good cook and he fulfilled all of my father's needs. My siblings and I felt very secure leaving dad in George's hands and we appreciated his care.
