About Me

I am passionate about being a caregiver. I like giving care to people who are in need. I like to make them happy and to make a safe place for them. Also, I am not very keen on working in an office space or at a desk, because I'm an active person and like physical work. My patients' grateful eyes brings me the most joy. I am a responsible and hardworking person who dislikes lying and loves fairness. Most of my patients describe me as an individual with patience. They say I am attentive, intelligent, dedicated, and reliable. I go above and beyond to help my patients. One of my clients and his family love to travel a lot and I agreed to travel with them for several months and that was a very special experience. My hobby is traveling. When I have free days, I always try to go somewhere. I may not go far, but it's very interesting for me to discover new places, meet new people, and learn about their culture and customs. I also like to watch documentaries about famous people.

Recommendations

My employer had a stroke and Inga was his live-in caregiver. She started working with him 24/7, but now in late 2019, she currently works for six hours, 4 days a week. As this gentleman's house manager, my interactions with Inga were during the week. When she was living with him, Inga helped our employer with all of his daily living tasks: Dressing, bathing, and grooming. He uses a wheelchair and Inga helped him exercise. She also helped prepare light meals for him. Inga is hard working and does more than she is asked to do. She is able to anticipate needs and my employer appreciates her. Inga has infinite amounts of patience and I recommend her as a caregiver.

Inga was a caregiver for my parents for about a year in 2013. Mom had dementia and was diabetic and bedridden. Dad had problems with his knees and wasn't able to care for mom. Inga cooked and cleaned and did wound care for mom. She drove our family car to go shopping and run errands. Dad really liked her and relied on her. She always seemed like a good natured person to me. Unfortunately, we ran out of money for home care services and were unable to keep Inga employed.
