About Me

I was born in the Republic of Georgia. I was raised by my grandparents so I have a lot of love in my heart for the elderly. They cared for me and I cared for them, and they inspired me to become a doctor. While I was in medical school, I worked as a nurse, and then after graduation, I worked in the hospital emergency room for more than three years. I came to the United States in 2001 to be with my children. I earned my Home Health Aide certificate, and started my caregiving career. I’m very passionate about what I do and I really love helping the elderly. When I’m not caregiving, I love reading, drawing, and spending time with my granddaughter.

Recommendations

Tammy was one of three caregivers who provided 24/7 care for my mother. My mom required total care during the last years of her life due to a number of chronic medical ailments. Tammy created a strong relationship with my mom during the six months in mid-2021 that she was with us and she worked well with the team of caregivers. She helped with bathing, dressing, cooking, and medication. I wasn't able to be there regularly since I live out of state. I did visit several times and observed that Tammy is excellent at caregiving. She is warm and inviting, and I am happy to recommend her.

My mother was living in an assisted living facility and Tammy was her daily caregiver from March 2020 until January 2021 when she passed. Mom used a wheelchair, had limited vision, and was in the early stages of dementia. Because of Covid, there was a strict family visiting policy in place and we were really dependent on Tammy. She called on the phone or video chatted with us every day, helped with a lot of paperwork, and was extremely reliable. Tammy was calm, patient, and gentle, and was the only person that mom would allow to help bathe her. Mom needed a companion who would talk to her and she and Tammy became good friends. My mother was happy and that was the most important thing to us. I would definitely recommend her as a great caregiver.
