About Me

I was born and raised in the Republic of Georgia and I have a bachelor’s degree in physics. I worked as a radio physics specialist for more than 7 years and when I came to the United States in 2002, and couldn't use my degree here, so I became a caregiver. It’s been my passion to help and assist people when needed. I’m a people person and I love to work with others. My goal is to improve the quality of life of all my patients. I want to see my clients happy and comfortable. I always involve them in activities that will promote their health. I’m always motivated to do more when I see positive results stem from my hard work. I am a very patient, hard working, honest, humble guy. I love fitness, sports, music, and being outdoors.

Bob took care of my ill, 64-year-old husband from the beginning of July 2023 until his passing in December 2023. Bob is an extremely skilled health care worker who takes his job very seriously. He has vast knowledge about medication, wound care, proper care for various illnesses, how to move a sick individual in and out of bed, physical therapy, and which safety devices to place in the home. He handled all my husband's needs from bathing, shaving, feeding, taking him to appointments, driving, and physically picking my husband up and carrying him when necessary. Bob is very strong. Bob worked 5-7 days per week, 24/7. This was not an easy job. Bob is a very responsible, trustworthy, conscientious worker who invests himself in his job and becomes part of the family and developed a special rapport with my husband. I recommend Bob for any caregiver position.

Bob was employed as home health aide for our father from July 2019 until our father’s death three years later, in July 2022. Bob began working with my father shortly after our mother died, when we moved Dad from a house to an apartment. My father, then 94 years old, was dealing with substantial losses and declining cognitive functions. Over the three years in which Bob was his live-in caregiver, five days a week, we got to know him well. My sisters and I are incredibly grateful for the outstanding care, attention, and joy Bob brought to our father at the end of his life. As an aide, Bob is highly competent in all areas of care. He can help with all activities of daily living (dressing, bathing, feeding) but encourages independence when appropriate. He was excellent with any wound care needs, made sure my father took his medications, and provided companionship. Bob consistently engaged our father in conversation, and encouraged him to tell stories of his youth, work and family. As our father declined, Bob adjusted the activities to best suit his abilities and interests. When he could no longer walk any distance, Bob began driving him to different local parks for fresh air and a change of scenery. Bob also helped him with basic exercises to keep his muscles flexible and as strong as possible. At the end, it was Bob who could most often make Jack smile. My sisters and I were also very appreciative of Bob’s communications with us. He kept us well informed of Jack’s needs and condition. He would often send us photographs of their outings as well as any medical concerns like cuts or bruises. Bob also trained other aides who worked with Jack on weekends. Overall, we found Bob to be kind, trustworthy, very responsible, and attentive. Any family would be lucky to have Bob caring for their loved one.

Bob was employed by my family for more than 3 years as a full-time, live-in personal aide and caregiver to my elderly father. Bob provided exceptional care for my dad from September 2014 through December 2017. Because of Bob's ability to cook, maintain a clean house, wash clothes, and grocery shop as well as schedule multiple medical appointments and communicate effectively with family members, we knew with a level of certainty that our elderly dad was in competent hands. Bob fed, bathed, and dressed dad and accompanied him to the bathroom when necessary. Additionally, Bob kept accurate records of all monetary expenditures made on dad's behalf. In addition to being an excellent caregiver and personal companion, Bob has proven himself to be honest, trustworthy, deeply caring, cooperative, and reliable. These wonderful attributes coupled with his many skills truly afforded my family and me the peace of mind that comes with the knowledge that your loved one is receiving the care and companionship they need when you can't be there for them. I strongly endorse Bob and recommend him for employment as a caregiver/personal companion.

Bob was in the employ of my father as a caregiver for several months in the summer of 2013. He joined my dad on a temporary basis while our permanent provider returned to his native country for an extended family visit. In this capacity, (Bob) did an outstanding job. He is experienced and competent. Simply put, he catered to my father's every need with order, diligence, and love. My husband and I marvel at the unending patience he demonstrated during his tenure with our family. My father has residual handicaps resulting from a stroke. Bob continued the prescribed physical therapy exercise program, encouraging my father three times each day. He assisted him in a daily shower and my dad was always clean. His meals were prepared with considerable thought given to nutritional guidelines. Bob is most pleasant to be around and has become part of our family. (Four years later, he still comes for holidays.) Frankly, it was with mixed emotions that we welcomed the return of our permanent employee. Selecting a caregiver is an important and trying decision. We recommend him without reservation and know that anyone who hires him will be lucky to have him.

Bob has worked for our family as my father's live in full time caregiver, since January 2014 and we couldn't have been happier; sadly, my father passed away July 7, 2014 which is why I am writing this letter of recommendation. My father suffered from congestive heart failure, emphysema, glaucoma, and end-stage renal disease. Any one of these would be difficult enough to manage, but to contend with all four was extremely difficult; however, Bob did it with aplomb. He had to prepare meals according to a very strict renal menu plan while still making them palatable- a daunting task at best. Bob had to make sure my father took his medication four times a day, including a treatment with a nebulizer twice a day, and he also had to apply his eye drops twice a day. Bob encouraged my father to do his breathing exercises and some physical exercises two to three times a day and then he would monitor his oxygen equipment and consumption. My father was on oxygen 24/7. In addition, Bob bathed my father, dressed him in the morning when needed, accompanied him to the bathroom, took his vital signs, weighed him in the morning and then monitored his heart rate and oxygen consumption throughout the day. At 94 years of age, my father could get inpatient with the daily routine and sometimes lost his temper but Bob was always calm and managed to change his mood for the better. He made sure my father was comfortable and happy. He worried about my father as if he were his own father. We couldn't have asked for a better person to have as a companion and caregiver for my father, and we would have been devastated to lose him. Bob is amazing and you won't regret hiring him.
