About Me

I have always worked as a caregiver. I like to work with people and improve their way of life. I like to take my clients out, if they are able to go out. I also like to make sure my clients are properly groomed. I make my clients laugh and have fun and I always show up to work with a high spirit and positive attitude. My goal is to try and improve their lives in any way I can. I'm calm and understanding, and I like to listen to others. For fun, I like to take walks, go to the park, go out to dinner, and go to the movies.

Recommendations

Deborah and I work together at a group home for the disabled. We've been working together since 2010 and it's now June 2018. I manage and run the group home and Debbie is one of the direct support staff we have on site. Our clients have a wide range of disabilities and the ages range from 20-74 years old. Debbie is there to assist the clients with their activities of daily living. She does cooking, showering, and sometimes helps with medical appointments. Debbie is very outgoing and gets the job done. I know if there was ever an emergency, I could rely on her to know what to do. She's very experienced and professional. She's one of my best staff I have on hand, and I recommend her highly.

I worked with Debbie at a rehab facility from about 2002-May 2018. I was a nurse at first and then became a supervisor. Debbie was a certified Nurse Aide on the floor with me. She would be responsible for taking care of anywhere from 8-10 clients. She provided direct care and took care of their activities of daily living. She took vital signs and helped the clients with getting ready for rehab appointments or dialysis. Debbie had a great relationship with her clients and they all loved her. She's definitely a people person and loves what she does. She's very loving, caring, and kind, which I think is a big plus being a caregiver. You won't regret working with her.

I highly recommend Debbie, who I worked with from 2006-2010 as a direct support professional in an organization for the developmentally disable. Debbie was responsible for assisting the persons we support with everyday daily living skills. She also was responsible for medication administration, scheduling appointments, and any other duties for the day that may arise. Debbie has great communication skills. In addition, she is very organized and reliable. She was able to work independently and was ready to work on any project that was assigned to her and would follow through to ensure the job was completed. She would be a great asset to anyone and has my highest recommendation.
