About Me

I was born and raised in Ghana. I came to the United States in 1999 and in 2010 I became a caregiver. I have always loved taking care of the elderly because I took care of my grandmother for more than 5 years back home. My grandmother was bedridden, so I took care of all her needs from bathing/showering, grooming her, feeding her, and making sure she was comfortable and happy. I am a happy person, outgoing, dependable, and honest. I can escort my clients to all their appointments, and make sure my clients are clean all the time. I always follow doctors’ recommendations to provide the best care and I am also good at updating the people involved in the client’s care. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my children.

Recommendations

Seeta was my client's live-in caregiver in 2018 for approximately 10 months. I am a care manager and she is one of the many caregivers who have been assigned to this couple, but most of the care is for the man. The very strong personality of my client makes the environment a bit toxic. It does not phase Seeta -- she is absolutely lovely, kind patient. Her client is a 78-year-old man who has had a number of hip and knee replacement surgeries, has a dropped foot, and cannot toilet or bathe himself. Seeta does everything for him including laundry, cooking, and light housekeeping. As an employee and a person, she is lovely, loyal, responsible and always seems to go above and beyond. My client's wife is an opioid addicted, 75-year-old woman with a controlling and often bordering on abusive personality, which makes it so toxic. Seeta has managed to work with and around her to give her client the best care. When I come over with groceries, Seeta meets me at the car and helps bring them in without any prompting. Anyone will be lucky to have her.

Seeta took care of my father from 2013-2015. My father was elderly and we needed someone to stay with him while we were at work. Seeta did everything for my father. She cooked his meals, cleaned the house, did the laundry, and made sure he was safe. Seeta is very loving and kind. She did a nice job taking care of my father and I recommend her services.
