About Me

I taught English as a Second Language at a private school in the Republic of Georgia for many years. Transitioning to the United states was a little smoother than I thought because I was able to learn things quickly due to my basic knowledge in English. I began caregiving as a profession because I just love it when people appreciate the effort that is put into making their lives comfortable and happy. This job gives me satisfaction when I get to help others and I'm happy when I am appreciated. I also care about the elderly a lot, and I like hanging around them. I'm a very kind and hardworking person. I am very reliable and your loved ones will be safe, happy, and comfortable in my care. I am very patient with my clients. For fun, I love photography, and I love to take pictures of architecture and motion. I also love painting and traveling.

Recommendations

Eka worked with my mother for several months in 2018 and I am pleased to recommend her. She stepped in quickly to a challenging situation and quickly distinguished herself as a professional aide who combines skills and good judgment with compassion and warmth. Eka's primary responsibility was ensuring the physical safety of my 88-year-old mother, who suffered from mild dementia, while greatly valuing her independence and autonomy. On numerous occasions, Eka was called upon in the middle of the night to calm my mother and divert her from wandering or otherwise injuring herself. She was also responsible for organizing my mother's medications, assisting her with household tasks, and seeing that she received adequate meals. I found Eka to be professional, kind, patient, and skillful. Caring for a physically fit and mobile client who is also grappling with dementia is a significant challenge, and Eka handled it well at all times that I observed her. I recommend Eka without reservation.

Eka has been my husband's caregiver since 2017 and it's currently April 2019. I can only say good things about Eka. She is very kind, professional, and efficient. My husband is very ill and I am very happy with everything she does to help him. I find Eka to be a nice emotional support to me, too. I highly recommend her as a caregiver.
