About Me

I have the compassion to do caregiving because I like helping people, especially the elderly, when they need help. I like taking care of their needs. Whatever my client asks me to do, I am ready to do it. I love to make people happy. We can sing, play games together, or go on walks. I can also cook and I'm very responsible. I have a lot of experience and I can work with anyone -- couples, men, women, or children. I try to make my clients as comfortable as possible. I connect with my clients and get to know them. I also work well with the families. When I'm not working, I like exercising, going for walks, or going to the gym. Being active is important for me. I like listening to music and I enjoy reading, also.

Recommendations

For 2 1/2 years until August 2023, Christine cared for my husband, who was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) in 2020. In her capacity as a private home health aide, she immediately knew how to communicate, assist, and help with all personal and daily activities, prepare healthy meals and keep him hydrated, encourage movement and exercise, and shadow him throughout the day. Besides being naturally compassionate and caring, Christine is highly dependable and never refused to take on the task at hand. As a caregiver for my husband, as well as support for the family, Christine will always be a very special person in our lives. It is my pleasure to refer Christine as a home health aide.

Christine was my mother's caregiver for a year from January 2017 to February 2018. My mother passed away in February, so that is why we no longer are working with Christine. We moved my mother into a nursing home but wanted her to have someone with her throughout the day, so we hired Christine. Christine went to the nursing home every day to help my mother. She would help her with toileting, dressing, and making sure she ate. Christine also brought my mother to activities in the nursing home and was her companion. My mother really liked having Christine around and she made her happy. I was happy because my mother was safe and happy. We had a very positive experience with Christine; she was always very caring and reliable. I recommend her highly.

Christine was my mother's live-in caregiver from around 2012-2014. My mother had initially fallen and was living independently in her home, but we decided that she needed a caregiver to assist her with her daily tasks after the fall. I conducted interviews because I was very picky about who I wanted to hire to work with my mother, whom I adored. My mother also was a quick study to people, so she knew right away if someone was a good one or not. We went through a few different aides before we came across Christine. If it wasn't for Christine, I think that my mother would have passed away sooner. Christine was totally committed to my mother and her well being. Eventually we moved my mother into a senior facility, and although they provided care, I still wanted Christine with my mother, but more importantly my mother still wanted Christine to live with her and take care of her. Christine did it all for my mother -- cooking, cleaning, dressing, and preparing foods. She has a wonderful personality and my mother absolutely adored spending time with Christine. One of the most important things about Christine is that she encouraged my mother to get out and do more, and I loved that. You can trust Christine with your life, she's extremely honest. Anyone would be so fortunate and blessed to work with Christine.
