About Me

I love to be able to help those who need my services and I'm proud of the work that I do for others. I have a lot of patience. I'm easy going and calm. I don't get frustrated easily. I always try to make my clients smile and happy. I do what they want to do, as long as it won't hurt them. I stand by my client's side to support them. I like to take my clients out in the community. And I always want what is best for my client. For fun, I love to play soccer and basketball. I also love to watch sports -- I love the Lakers.

Recommendations

Sid is currently my son's caregiver and has been for the past 8 months (it's currently July 2018). My son is 23 years old and has autism. He is non-verbal but uses sign language to communicate. Sid is responsible for my son's activities of daily living. He helps him with his hygiene, showering, meals, and medication as well. Sid is very good at following our protocol and procedures and always asks if he doesn't understand something. Sid is an even-tempered, reliable, and respectful guy. He's very trustworthy. I know my son likes having Sid around, especially because he engages with him in physical activities. He doesn't just sit around when he's with my son, which I know my son loves. Sid is an all-around good guy and you can't go wrong with him.

I was the manager for a group home that Sid worked at as a community specialist. A few of the clients in the home sign up for one-on-one time outside of their regular caregiver, and that was Sid's role. He would help the clients with their everyday life as well as help them with integrating into the community. The majority of our clients have mental disabilities. Sid would have to chart what he and the client did together. We never had any issues with him and the clients. Sid is the kind of person who wears his heart on his sleeve and will take the shirt off his back to give to you. He's extremely caring. He has a calm demeanor and is somewhat reserved. He worked well in our setting because of this. I definitely recommend him for caregiving work.
