Martha A.

Martha and I have been working together for 15 years since we started in 2003 in the same facility. At the moment, I am Martha's evening supervisor. Martha has had numerous roles at the facility, including Certified Nurse Aide, activity aide, and rehab aide. She also worked in restorative care, assisting with physical therapy and occupational therapy. For the most part, she provides the residents with their activities of daily living. I would describe Martha as extremely hard working. She has empathy towards the residents and can relate well to them. All of the residents love working with Martha. She's very dependable and is a very pleasant person to work with. I recommend her highly.

Martha came to help my mother in the beginning of 2017. My mother was bedridden for a while and has severe arthritis in her knee. She fractured her other leg and is very limited in her walking and what she can do on her own. We have a caregiver Monday to Friday and Martha works weekends. I think that Martha is the only caregiver that my mother actually likes. She is very personable and formed a nice relationship with my mom, which is important. Martha is always smiling and I don't think I've ever seen her annoyed or frustrated. When Martha is around, I can leave the house and not have to worry about anything. She's definitely a high-quality caregiver and I recommend her highly.
