Debbie has been a big part of my life since 2013. She originally came into my life when my father (who was 95 at the time) returned home from the hospital. When most of our family members thought we were looking at a hopeless situation, Debbie nursed my father back to health. He continued to live an additional 3 years, thanks to her loving care. She now continues to care for my mother and she is part of the family. Her many qualities have made her invaluable. She is responsible, reliable, calm, and always smiling. Debbie is flexible when it comes to chores or care, always making the person feel dignified. She does complete all tasks with enthusiasm and will be an asset to any home. If you have the opportunity to hire Debbie, grab it. She will make your life better, as she has mine.

Debbie worked with my dad for more than a year starting in 2017. Dad is a 95-year-old advanced dementia patient with Stage 4 emphysema. Although he manages to move around on his own, he is not capable of leaving the house due to his memory and his need for oxygen 24/7. He cannot handle daily tasks on his own. Most of the time, he will forget what he did two minutes prior. Debbie has been a tremendous asset to me and my family. Her patience, kindness, and attention to dad's needs go beyond expectations. She shows compassion and empathy, as well as letting dad keep his dignity. Debbie's responsibilities are to do whatever is necessary to make his day run smoothly. Debbie does an impeccable job at keeping dad's living area spotless as well as his clothing and hygiene. Meal planning and medications are just a few of her responsibilities. A lot of aides will do the basic of responsibilities to be sure that their patient is cared for, however, Debbie takes pride in what she does and goes over and beyond. A key to this job is keeping him occupied throughout a 14-hour day, adding as much conversation as possible to keep his mind going. Since he is forgetful, he has a habit of removing his oxygen from his nose. This constant reminder made dad not qualified to be in assisted living so Debbie helps him at home. I would highly recommend Debbie for anyone looking for an aide. She would be an asset to your family.
