About Me

When I planned to come to the United States, I wanted to be a nurse. Unfortunately, my dad passed and I had to take care of my siblings back home. I decided to become a nurse's assistant and I really love this job. I became a caregiver in 1973. I love this work because it is similar to being a nurse, a profession I dreamt of. I am a very happy person, and I keep my clients happy through conversations and being jovial. I make my clients feel like they are part of my family. I always put on a smile I have a good heart. I am a very good listener. I am very understanding and have tons of patience. I have a lot of experience in this field and I have come across many different cases and know how to handle every one of them. I like to watch television and spend time with my grandchildren when I am off from work. For fun, I go to the movies with friends.

Recommendations

Yva was my mother's caregiver in 2015-2016, up until my mother passed. My mother was 92 at the time and was completely bedridden. We had two caregivers who came and did split schedules, and Yva was one of them. My mother loved them both, but she really loved Yva. Yva would help my mom with keeping her clean and preparing her meals for her. She would take care of anything she needed to get done and would keep her company. Yva really cared about my mother and she also cared about our family. She became family to us. If I ever needed a caregiver, I wouldn't hesitate to contact Yva -- she's the best.

Yva took care of my husband from 2012-2014 until my husband passed away. My husband had heart failure and suffered from a stroke. Yva was with us every day to help out around the house. If I wasn't home, she would help my husband with bathing, cooking, and getting him dressed. She made sure my husband was comfortable and safe. She would make my husband laugh and we loved her calm personality. She's a very responsible person and was always on time and reliable. I certainly recommend Yva.
