About Me

I like to be there for people who need help and I am very happy doing it. As a caregiver, I am very calm, kind, hardworking, and very honest. I like to have conversations with my clients so I can know more about them. I always make sure my surrounding area is clean and very organized. I run errands for my clients and also take them out to family events, doctor appointments, shopping, or on a stroll when the weather permits. I can cook delicious, nutritious meals for my clients, sand make sure they take their medications on time. My hobbies include reading history-based novels and watching television.

We hired Irine to take care of my aunt who lived alone and had dementia. She was her 24-hour, live-in caregiver from 2014 until mid-2018. My aunt's needs progressed very rapidly. She had a series of strokes and got to a point where she couldn't walk or talk. Irine took charge of everything. During all that time, I would say the one thing that I admired of Irine was her ability to stay positive despite my aunt's condition. She would carry my aunt into the wheelchair, take her out for errands, cook great meals for her, and feed her. The physical therapists who came to my aunt's home to work with her would always comment on how well kept my aunt was when they visited. Irine knew all the details of my aunt's needs and made sure everyone else did things the right way. Irine is very dedicated and a detailed person. If anything, I would say she worked too hard -- she didn't like to take time off even when I offered it. We were very lucky to have her and wish her nothing but the best.

Irine was my father's caregiver for about 6-7 months until he passed away in August of 2018. My father was a really tough patient, he knew what he wanted and was very specific of how he wanted things done. I must say that Irine handled his care very lovingly. She was able to to meet all of my father's needs and kept his pride up until his last days. At one point, during a private conversation with my father, he thanked me for helping with his care and he believed that only a mother-figure could have cared for him like Irine did; that in itself sums up the type of caregiver she is. During his last days, my family was in the house with him and Irine took care of all of us. She made sure there was a nice meal prepared, and she was a great emotional support as well. We are very grateful for Irine, and we hope that she can connect with another great family.
