About Me

When I was a teenager, my dream was to become a nurse. Because of this passion, I was able to volunteer to help the victims of Hurricane Gilbert in 1988. As a caregiver, I am very easy to work with. I follow instructions thoroughly and can be left unsupervised and get the job done perfectly. I always keep it professional, and I'm easy to get along with. I love to get to know my clients through conversations and observations. I would make the client proud by keeping him or her very neat and clean. I am a quick learner, and I make sure I get everything done and do it efficiently. I love to read and go to the gym in my spare time. I also like to take a long walk in the park and listen to music.

Recommendations

Sharon was my father's caregiver from 2015-March 2017, when my father passed away. My father was getting older and couldn't be left alone. He was living with my oldest sister, but she was moving to another state and my dad really wanted to stay in the area where he was living. He moved into the home of another sister and we hired Sharon to come and take care of him during the day. Sharon got him up and going, she prepared meals, helped him with bathing, and also did his laundry. Sharon is one of the best caregivers we ever had. She treated my father with respect and never pushed him to do things if he didn't wanting to do them. She allowed him to be independent but provided safety if he needed it. My dad loved her cooking and loved how she treated him. She was also always prompt and reliable for our family. I recommend her highly.

Sharon took care of my mother from around 2012-2015. My mother had dementia and some knee problems, so she needed help with getting around and taking care of herself. Sharon took care of my mother and everything that came with that. She would help her shower, prepare meals, and take her to doctor appointments. Sharon was always on time and we never had issues with that. She is also trustworthy and we had valuables around the house that never were misplaced. I could tell my mom liked her and she was always very friendly. I recommend her highly.
