About Me

I always wanted to be a nurse, and the first step for me was to become a Certified Nurse Assistant. I love taking care of the elderly, the sick, and others who cannot take care of themselves due to a certain circumstance. I love being a caregiver because it's fascinating to me to work with people with different ailments and different situations, and in turn use my experience to help them succeed or feel better. I also get to learn about different cultures through caregiving. I am loving, caring, and kind. I also am soft spoken. I'm passionate about what I do and I take my responsibilities very seriously. I go above and beyond to make my clients happy and comfortable, and to feel safe around me. For fun, I like to go shopping and watch soap operas. I love to travel and I also play board games.

Recommendations

Novie and I have been working together since about 2016 in the same facility, but Novie has been with the facility since 2002. I'm an RN and Novie is one of my Certified Nurse Assistants that I work with. What I love about Novie is that she's not lazy and doesn't get frustrated when she's delegated tasks. She works with approximately 7-9 patients at at time and provides them with personal care such as showering, feeding, and changing linens. The patients she works with all love her. Novie is very sweet and she really cares about her work. She's also a team player. She works well with different patients because at the short-term rehab facility we work at, we see a wide range of patients. I recommend her highly.

I am an RN and Novie was a Certified Nurse Assistant working on my floor at a large community hospital. We worked together from 2007-2013, when our hospital closed permanently. Novie is a terrific CNA. I would give her an assignment and know that it would get done. She took pride in her work and could always be found in a patient's room, either feeding, bathing, turning, or positioning. The feedback I got from patients indicated that she was kind and talked with them. Novie told me that she treated each patient like she was her own mother, and I can verify that is true. I absolutely would recommend Novie to work in a facility or to care for a patient at home.
