About Me

When I decided to become a nurse's aide to take care of the elderly, I started by working in a hospital and I realized I love to care and nurture the elderly. As a caregiver, I am very warm, sympathetic, and caring. I am jovial, and I love to see my clients happy or at least smile within the course of the day. I love to give my clients words of encouragement during dark times. I take care of my clients like they are my very own family, and I have also taken care of children in my career. For fun, I love to sing and dance. I love to socialize and get to know people when I step out. I also love to go shopping.

Recommendations

Marcia is a Certified Nurse Aide who has been taking care of me overnight during the vacation of my regular nighttime aide. I am recovering from orthopedic and vascular surgery in January 2018. My surgery has necessitated me needing help to prevent me from falling and helping prepare me for bed in the evening. Marcia is with me from 10 pm to 7 am weekday evenings. Marcia is a very outgoing, cheerful companion. She always arrives promptly for her shift, even though she has a lengthy commute to my home. Her care for me involves washing and applying lotions and helping me get to bed safely. The fact that she has a 28-year career in hospital care assured me that she is competent in her job. I recommend her highly.

I have had the pleasure of working with Marcia for the past 10 years while she has worked as an ambulatory surgical unit attendant at a major city hospital. Marcia is truly unique in her ability to empathize, establish rapport, and reach a very broad range of customers from diverse backgrounds. Marcia attracted a following of customers who purposely sought her out because she had been helpful to them. Marcia's diligence, bright mind, inquisitive nature, and unwavering commitment to helping others enabled her to achieve this success. Marcia is a good listener who also can convey information clearly and effectively to individuals and groups. As you can tell, I hold Marcia in very high regard and therefore can confidently recommend her for any position in her field. I am equally confident that she possesses the empathy, caring nature, listening skills, and intellectual capacity to become a fine professional.
