About Me

I come from Lithuania where we used to do everything at home, including helping small children and helping our elderly. I came to the United States and after I learned English, I worked with my first client, a woman who had Alzheimer's. I really love working with people. I want to be helpful to the elderly. I love to go to the park with clients, take them out, or go shopping. I'm very positive, and I'm always looking to improve my client's life. I can help with medications and ordering prescriptions. I'm very good at communicating with families, and I'm constantly sending pictures or text messages, keep family members up to date. I want to make everything easier for the family. For fun, I like to cook, knit, crochet, and sew.

Recommendations

Donna worked with my mother, who suffered from dementia, as a live-in caregiver every other weekend. She helped her with everything. She always kept her clean and neat. I never had to worry when Donna was there. What I liked most about her is that she treated my mom like a family member. She would include my mom in dinners with her daughters because she knew my mom liked to be around children. Donna was like a sister to me. She was always punctual and never called out sick. Donna was trustworthy and would go above and beyond, and we still keep in touch. I would hire again.

Donna provided excellent overnight care for my 87-year-old mother who suffers from severe dementia. She was very reliable, had a sincere understanding of my mother's needs and wants, and most of all had enormous patience with each and every situation that presented itself. Caring for the elderly is a difficult job, but Donna had a great deal of compassion that put my mother at ease and made her feel comfortable and safe when Donna cared for her. I recommend her highly.
