About Me

I've always wanted to be a nurse and I did schooling in my country for nursing. In the United States, I went for my nurse's aide license because that was the right choice for me at the time around 1996. I've been doing home health aide work since 2011. I have a lot of compassion for others and I love to be there for people who can't help themselves. I'm very patient and willing to do anything to help my client. I love to be a part of the family and be available for the family members with whatever they need. I'm funny, always very loving, dependable, and flexible. My clients love talking with me. I'm very empathetic to my clients' feelings and needs. I'm always there for my client with whatever they need. For fun, I love to travel. I also like to spend time with family and friends.

We recommend Gladys, who is a caring and kind person. She has a knack for knowing when you need her and also knowing when to step back. She took care of my mom in 2019 and 2020 on 2 separate occasions –- one due to an orthopedic issue and one was more of a medical issue. We could count on her for whatever was needed and we had specifically requested her on the 2nd occasion as we were so happy with her the first time.

Gladys has worked with my mom for many years through 2019. She is currently 103 years old and is completely bedridden. We have round-the-clock care and Gladys works 12-hour shifts Monday to Thursday. Gladys helps make her as comfortable as she can. She feeds her pureed foods and changes her diapers. My mom has never had bed sores. When she was mobile, Gladys would help her bathe and dress. She would also take her outside in her wheelchair. Out of the four aides that we have, Gladys has been with us the longest. She is very responsible and communicates well with me and the rest of the staff.

Gladys worked with my aunt in 2013-2014. I made a promise to my aunt that I would never put her in a nursing home, so when she started showing signs of Alzheimer's, I moved her in with me and my husband. We also hired Gladys to help us take care of her. My aunt was a tough cookie, but Gladys did an excellent job. My aunt's room was always neat and clean, and Gladys helped her with her personal care. Gladys would also clean my kitchen for me. Gladys is very compassionate and caring. We loved having her here and I felt very relaxed and comfortable when Gladys was with my aunt. I recommend her highly.
