About Me

I decided to become a caregiver many years ago. Back in Jamaica, I lived with my grand uncle and he was sick with cancer. I was 14 years old and I knew nothing at the time, but I learned from my family how to take care of him and others. From that experience, I developed my passion to help. I like to keep my clients entertained and to make them feel happy. We can play games together, watch movies together, or sing songs. I will take my clients shopping if they want. I'm willing to do anything that makes them happy. I'm always smiling and laughing. I love to know that my client is comfortable. I provide my clients with a lot of love and patience. I love cooking and I also love to read and listen to music to keep myself happy.

Recommendations

Angela took care of my grandmother 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, until she passed at the age of 97. I am delighted to recommend Angela. She was honest, reliable, lovely, and communicative. I lived a state away and never had to worry. She handled all of the daily duties for my grandmother. Angela would help bathe her, cook, and keep her place clean. I have no reservations in giving her the highest recommendation.

Angela took care of my children for many years (they are now in their 30s) and when my father needed a caregiver, I had Angela come back and take care of him, also. My father had Alzheimer's and Angela lived in my brother's home and was his primary caregiver. She took care of everything for my dad and everyone was always so amazed that he never had a bedsore. At night when things got tough and he was awake a lot, Angela would sleep in the bed next to him to take care of his needs. She would prepare his meals and take him outside for walks. She came up with suggestions for us about his care. Angela is honest, hardworking, and what I loved the most is that she could laugh things off easily. My father loved money and I would give him $50 in singles to play around with and I never had to worry that the money would go missing. Angela would find the money in the wash and return it back to me. I have told her numerous times that she's going to be my caregiver one day -- you can't find a better caregiver.
