About Me

There are a lot of people in the world who need help, so I like to be there for others. I feel like this job is a blessing. I treat my clients like they are my own family, and I work from my heart. I love to be there for people. I can play with them, go out with them, take them shopping, clean the house, or cook for them. I make sure their environment is always neat and clean. I'm very caring towards everyone and I don't discriminate. I know how to treat people properly, and I love my job. For fun, I like to go out and go shopping. I like to read, watch movies, and read the bible, too. I like to give all of myself to my client, to help them in any way.

Recommendations

I have been Sophia's supervisor since April 2017 (it's January 2019) at a facility for individuals with special needs. Our clients range in age from 30's-50's. Many of them are wheelchair bound and require intensive care, as well as being nonverbal. Sophia is very responsible with our clients and you can tell that she enjoys her job. She helps them with feeding, changing them and with recreational activities. Sophia is very hardworking and I don't hesitate to recommend her.

Sophia worked at a residence for people with developmental disabilities from 2010 - 2016. I am a supervisor at the residence and even though Sophia doesn't work here regularly anymore, I know I can call her for fill-in work. She is a good-hearted person who does caregiving because she loves people and not just for the money. She is loving and caring, reliable and diligent. Sophia knows how to work in a team and was well-liked by the other staff. I noticed that she was conscientious about changing diapers and turning clients on schedule, and careful to report scratches or bruises that she noticed. She also did a great job with our more mobile residents, and enjoyed taking them to the movies or out to eat. When residents returned home from their jobs, she'd always check in with them. As a supervisor, I appreciated that Sophia was always willing to take on additional responsibilities when we were short-handed. Her concern for our residents and her ability to fulfill her duties are two of the reasons why I am happy to recommend Sophia as a caregiver.
