About Me

Back home in the Republic of Georgia, I studied nursing for about 2 years. I also took care of my grandfather after he had a stroke. When I moved to the United States, I decided to work with the elderly as a career, and I became a caregiver in 1999. I love caregiving because I love to help people on a daily basis and make life easier for them and give them hope to look forward to the next day. As a caregiver, I am very loving and honest, and I always fulfill my duties efficiently. I am a problem solver and I provide my clients with the proper care. I ask questions when I am not sure about something. I adapt to new and changing environments easily and quickly. For fun, I love to exercise and I love to work on cars. I also love to meditate and take walks.

Recommendations

Lasha was my dad's caretaker from October 2011 until his passing on November 24, 2014. My dad used a wheelchair after breaking his hip several years ago. Lasha lived with my dad and provided 24-hour care for more than three years, including companionship, cooking, daily living activities, and more significant care as my dad's condition of congestive heart failure worsened in the weeks prior to his death. Lasha was an excellent caretaker. My sister, brother and I had complete confidence and peace of mind knowing that my dad was in Lasha's care. He took excellent care of my dad. He did all of the food shopping and provided my dad with very nutritious meals (wonderfully monitoring his food and fluid intake), ensured he was properly bathed, and took care of the other activities of daily living. Lasha was also a great companion to my dad, and they conversed about current events. Lasha's communication skills were great, being able to communicate during the good and difficult times, and being proactive with all communications with us so we were always informed of my dad's health status. My dad had congestive heart failure that escalated during the last few months of his life. Lasha was very good at communicating with us, accompanying my dad to the doctor as well as the hospital, and alerting us to any change in his condition. I would highly recommend Lasha as a caretaker based on his excellent skills.

Lasha was my father's caretaker from December 2010 through October 2011, when my father passed away. My dad was comfortable with Lasha. Lasha provided excellent care. He was proactive by letting me know right away if he had any concerns regarding my father's well being or if any household repairs were required. Lasha is capable, reliable, and trustworthy. I would not hesitate to recommend him.
