About Me

I came to the United States in 1999 and I started working as a caregiver right away. I love my clients very dearly and I love to feel like I am part of the family. I like to make my client feel comfortable. I feel very close to the people I work with and it makes me very happy to do this line of work. Caring for people is very natural for me. I'm very reliable and flexible, and very patient. I know how my clients feel and I can relate to their situations. My previous clients have all loved working with me. For fun, I love to watch TV shows and movies. I enjoy reading, and I also love to go to concerts. I enjoy cooking as well.

Recommendations

Rusa was a home health aide for my father from 2010 until he died at age 100 in 2017. He had suffered a stroke seven years before Rusa came, and he was paralyzed on his right side. He also suffered from dementia, was bedridden, and needed complete care. Rusa was responsible for his personal hygiene, preparing his food and feeding him, keeping his room tidy and doing his laundry. She helped with medications and spent endless hours by his side in his room, keeping him company. She was nurturing and devoted to him. Rusa treated my father with respect, yet was firm when necessary to ensure his well-being. She could handle new challenges in his care as he advanced in age. My father and Rusa lived in my home. She was eager to be helpful to me and always greeted us with a smile. It was a pleasure sharing family gatherings with her. I deeply appreciate the help that Rusa gave us and am glad to recommend her as a home health aide.

Rusa worked for my family from March 2003 until May 2010. She provided 24/7 live-in home care for my mother, who suffered a massive stroke in January 2003 that left her severely disabled. My wife and I had just moved 3 hours north of where my parents were living. My sister lived 10 minutes away and my other 2 siblings were not nearby, but we worked together to manage mom's care. Rusa was an essential and instrumental part of that team. She provided all of the home care needs for mom, with little guidance needed from us. At times, the job was very demanding. Mom would require near continuous attention, which would impact Rusa's ability to get enough sleep. This did not deter her. She did what had to be done and treated mom with compassion and loving care. Unfortunately, in 2010 my dad was forced into retirement and that meant that we did not have the financial resources to continue to employ Rusa. We missed her and mom died shortly after she left. Without reservation, I highly recommend Rusa. I believe her to be of high integrity and completely trustworthy. She was totally dedicated to the care of my mother.
